Welcome to the sixth issue of the Stellarvox Community Bulletin
Some weeks have gone by since the last Stellarvox Community Bulletin and it is time again to provide you with some fresh information about Black Prophecy. This time we have quite pleasant news for you. The responsible District Court in Hannover has abrogated the current insolvency proceeding of Reakktor Media GmbH’s assets. This means that we are finally out of the insolvency and again fully operational. With this huge obstacle out of the way, we are now in a far better situation for the negotiations with potential publishers. Having the insolvency sitting in our neck made things far more difficult and we are convinced that we’ll be able to provide you with more good news within the next weeks. News summary Stellarvox Veritas website The new Stellarvox Veritas website features interesting background information and explains important events in Black Prophecy's in-depth game story. Subsequent to the inaugural articles, the Stellarvox team will keep you in the loop with a constant stream of interesting lore surrounding Black Prophecy's universe. Check out the new Stellarvox Veritas website! Interview with Timo Krahl In an extensive interview, Creative Director Timo Krahl answers various questions about Black Prophecy. Amongst others, he talks about tactical maneuvers, PvE and PvP and presents four new exclusive screenshots as a bonus. Read the full interview at ZAM! Interview with Michael Marrak Michael has been invited to a trip to the Colony of Gamers and during his stay he talked about some interesting aspects of his work as an author and game designer for Black Prophecy. Art Direction Developer Diaries In his multi-part developer diary, Art Director Nick Ebenhoch outlines the art direction and graphical design of Black Prophecy. Black Prophecy: Behind the Scenes - issue #3 In issue #3 of Black Prophecy: Behind the Scenes, Creative Director Timo Krahl and Art Director Nick Ebenhoch talk about interesting aspects of Black Prophecy's gameplay and art direction. Don't miss issue #3 of Black Prophecy: Behind the Scenes! Community Spotlight Pilot “Lomsor” thinks that he has found an Easter egg in the gameplay trailer and wants to discuss this with you. Pilot “Yawshot” has started an interesting discussion about the importance of appropriate background music in games. Pilot “Raffie” wants to know what your first online game was. Let us know what your roots are! Pilot “taofd” made an interesting comparison of Black Prophecy’s timeline and the progress mankind makes in real time. Do we need to get a move on to be on Mars in time? The “Pimp my ship” forum thread started by Pilot “Aphex” brings fourth more and more creative minds showing the community their interpretation of Black Prophecy’s graphical assets. Into the future The year is declining and Christmas is almost at the doorstep. To sweeten the waiting time until Black Prophecy is released we are planning a small X-Mas special eye candy for you. Of course we will not elaborate on this at the current time as it is meant as a surprise. Art Director Nick Ebenhoch is nearly finished with his Art Direction Diary and will hand over the helm to Technical Director Cyrus Preuss. Cyrus will introduce the game physics to you in his multi-part diary and provide an insight into the technical side of Black Prophecy. In addition we will of course continue the publication of new articles on the Stellarvox web site to allow you to dive into Black Prophecy’s background story even more. Can that be the Christmas present please? Kind of off topic but with the insolvency removed does mean you can get PayPal back for Neocron and start making money off it again?
