Just letting the people know, if you can't wait for BP but you're in dire need of something alike, try "Air Rivals". Its pretty much, what seems to be, a simplication of the BP gameplay.
I'm sure BP will be a qlimax when it launches if you played Air Rivals.
No, i'm not a community manager from Air Rivals. I'm just implanting a hyp-o-qlimax-meter :p

I remember playing that back when it was still called Space Cowboys.
It's no where near what I'm expecting from Black Prophecy, but it was still pretty damn fun, I always went with the fastest gear I could get my hands on, and multi missiles always beat out damage, always go for more missiles.

I hated that game.
It'e been bought and renamed about 7 times in its life...
Lot of space game discussions on SSC for various games like Nauchima Space Warfare, Heresy War, Combat Simulation System, plenty of FSO mods, Fl and more. Too many to list there are things to do while you wait :)
And Air Rivals is not a great game, only popular because it is free.
I heard eve is alot like BP..
*Snickers, awaiting flames*
:D :D
Eve cant be like bp because eve was there first ...
And where did you hear that!
*Flame Flame ^^*
Edit: O I forgot ... You are BP!

I actually have an account with Ace-Online the american version of Air Rivals.
Its free I know, and I also know its a terrible game, but it's definately something I like to dick around in, especially when me and a few of my crew start pondering how gear's could possibly stay in the air when their engines are off.
That's how all those companies stay in business make a mediocre game and cover various gaming areas and prey on the people that like the micro payment system. Look at DDO for instance they weren't doing to well. So they made it F2P to a point and made it micro payment system. Now guess what they are doing better than they did last year. People don't even think about $1 here or there they only see OMG $15 a month no way :)
