Hi all,
I saw an article on DP well over a year ago then it total disappeared. I'm glad to have re-discovered the game. I was wondering if there was any place to find out what type of game DP will be. I mean besides a twitch based Space sim. Will it be based on Open PvP with player controlled space, Or instant PvP?
Will it be a combo PvE PvP game, or will there be separate servers for those crowds. Will it try ( and likely fail ) to cater to all Gamers or like EvE make the game and say "this is what it is and if it's not your cup of tea, look else where." If history has told game makers what will not work in MMO's of late I guess there is always room for more lessons. Anyway I have hopes for DP, but with the other option pretty much shot (JGE) which seems to have sold out is core players for a shot at WOW gold ( gl, you'll need it) I hope its not a sad attempt to cater to everyone. Make your game and if its good you'll have a great group of players who will stay, Make a WOW clone and join the likes of WAR, TR, AA, and many more MMO's that thought they too could be like WOW, cater to the casual and make a fortune. ;)
